Mike’s Hard Lemonade Summer Sweepstakes OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. MUST BE 21 OR OLDER TO ENTER.
1. To enter, go to at www.mikeshard.com or print your name, address, telephone number, age and the words "mike’s hard lemonade Summer Sweepstakes on a 3" x 5" card and mail to: mike’s hard lemonade Summer Sweepstakes, MHLSWEEP01, P.O. Box 426008, Del rio, TX 78842-6008. Limit one entry per person, per day. Program begins June 1, 2007 at 12:00a.m. Pacific Time and ends September 5, 2007 at 11:59p.m., Pacific Time. All entries must be postmarked by September 5, 2007 and received by September, 12, 2007. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, incorrect or postage-due mail entries, errors due to computer malfunctions, software errors, transmission problems or interruptions in operations, lost or misdirected email, all of which cause entries to be void. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the “authorized account holder,” person in whose name the e-mail account is registered, provided that person meets all eligibility criteria set forth in these Official Rules. Any attempt to defraud or misrepresent the age, name or address by an entrant may be prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted by law. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
2. Prizes: One grand prize winner will receive one Segway® x2, (electric transportation device for use in pedestrian areas). Approximate retail value of Grand Prize is $5,660.00. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize described above at sponsor's discretion for a prize of equal or greater value.
3. Winners will be determined in a random drawing on or about September 13, 2007 by an independent organization whose decisions will be final in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. The grand prize winners will be chosen from among all eligible sweepstakes entries. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of entries received. The winners will be notified by email immediately and US mail on or about September 27, 2007 and will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility and liability release within 10 days of notification or prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to another winner. If winner cannot be located or does not respond within 10 days, prize will automatically be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. If prize notification letter or prize is returned as undeliverable, the corresponding prize will be awarded to an alternate winner. Except where prohibited, acceptance of prize constitutes winner's consent to use his/her name, likeness and biographical data for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation. Prize is not redeemable for cash and is not transferable.
4. Entrants must be 21 years or older at the time of entry and a U.S. resident. Sweepstakes is void in CA, NE, WV, PR and where prohibited. Subject to State pre-approval in AL, AZ, AR, DE, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, MD, ME, MI, MN, MS, MT, NE, NV, NM, NY, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WY. Employees of the following entities and members of their families or households are not eligible for participation under any circumstances: Mike’s Hard Lemonade Co. and its respective affiliates, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, alcoholic beverage suppliers, wholesalers, distributors or retailers. All federal, state and local laws apply. Winner agrees to release Mike’s Hard Lemonade Co. and its respective employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising, promotional and judging agencies from any and all liabilities, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with receipt, ownership or use of any prize. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to notify the sponsor in writing if the entrant changes his/her e-mail or home address prior to the selection of winner.
5. Prizes are non-transferable. All federal, state and local taxes on the prize are winner's sole responsibility. By accepting the prize, winner waives the right to assert as a cost of winning said prize, any and all costs of redemption or travel to redeem said prize and any and all liability that might arise from redeeming or seeking said prize. Winner also accepts sole responsibility for all costs of any meals, local transportation and any other miscellaneous costs relating to acceptance of this prize.
6. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Sweepstakes due to mistakes, errors, or omissions by Sponsor, or should it be compromised by computer virus, program bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor, without any compensation or liability to any entrant.
7. Winner’s name will be posted on www.mikeshard.com for a period of 30 days following the drawing.
